Machinist FAQ

Is it hard to tell which plate is on top?

No! We designed the game with "Extreme Depth Cueing." By exaggerating ambient occlusion shadows and using a crisp, cool studio rimlight, the layers are instantly readable without needing to mess with a 3D camera.

Do the falling plates get stuck on each other?

Absolutely not. We explicitly banned "physics-chaos sandbox play." This is a logic puzzle. When you remove the last bolt, the plate uses a "canned" animation to cleanly and predictably swoosh off the board every single time.

What happens if my tray fills up?

If you run out of tray slots before clearing a plate, the board locks. However, you can use in-game currency or watch a quick rewarded ad to unlock an Extra Bolt Tray Slot, saving your run instantly!
